Plant Efficiency: High and consistent efficiency of the system ensures complete treatment of transformer oil to comply with IEC publication 296 for new oils. In most cases it is possible to reach better parameters than offered by brand new oil. Plant capacity is based on initial acidity of 0,2mg KOH/g of oil.

COMPARISON OF TECHNOLOGY:

There are a number of advantages in using ECOIL’s reactivable oil regeneration system when compared to conventional Fuller’s Earth Systems that have been used in the electrical industry for many decades. Although conventional Oil Purification Systems are able to degas and dehydrate oil, these system do not have the capabilities to cost effectively remove contaminants such as acids, sludge and other decaying products. The ECOIL system has been developed to cost effectively remove the above mentioned contaminants such as sludge and other decaying product as well as improving colour and oxidation stability. In comparing the two (2) oil regeneration systems of equal treatment capacity, the following results have been tabulated below:
